Paddle Victoria Marathon has received grant funding from the Victorian Government’s Change our Game initiative.

This funding will be used to pay for the Flatwater Guide course, assessment and 3-year registration fees for 5 women across Victoria. 

All applicants will be assessed against the following criteria: 

• paddling experience and prior attendance/support at Paddle Victoria Marathon events
• ability to meet course pre-requisites
• interest in encouraging and supporting the increased participation of women and girls in paddling across Victoria
• the need for a female Flatwater Guide in the area. 

 The Flatwater Guide course is conducted by Paddle Victoria and applications are open to female applicants only.
