Our October calendar (attached below) lists what's happening at the Geelong Canoe Club, on the Barwon River surrounding us and paddle events throughout Victoria.
Our Tuesday evening social paddles have been moved to 5.30 pm on the water starting 7 October. This later time makes it easier for more paddlers to join us.
The great news is that paddle pursuits are back on Thursdays at 6 pm starting on 10 October.
Our winter series of canoe rolling classes finished this week but you can always make your way to the Club on Friday evenings to try canoe polo and get some rolling tips. Thanks to our volunteer coaches Jason, Arnie, Michael and Pete.
Our monthly calendar not only lists what's happening at the Geelong Canoe Club and surrounding river it also lists:
- Paddle events such as Paddle Australia/Victoria coordinated marathon and sprint races and those arranged by associated paddle clubs.
- Events, river closures and works that impact our access to the river. These are managed by the Corangamite Catchment Management Authority.
