Our May calendar of what's on lists what's happening at the Geelong Canoe Club, on the Barwon River surrounding us and paddle events throughout Victoria.

Major updates for this month:

• New Thursday evening social paddle: We've added another social paddle event to our weekly offerings - Thursdays 4.45pm.
• Our Kayaking for Kids and River Ramble programs are ongoing.
• Sunday 31 May 2026 marathon race and come and try day: This is a fundraising event to support two of our young athletes who have made it to the Worlds this year:
• • Alexis Jane who is heading to the World Under 23 Canoe Marathon Championships on 22-25 October 2026 in Argentina.
  • Thomas Russell  who is heading to the World Junior & Under 23 Canoe Sprint Championships on 1-5 July 2026 in Halifax Canada.

The marathon race starts at 10.00 am. The come and try starts at 11.15am. Registration required.
