There's still time to register for The Impossible Ocean Paddle race that's on this Saturday.
Paddlers of all types of craft enter this race to journey 18km from Torquay to Barwon Heads (via Point Impossible) and while the majority of competitors will be in ocean skis there are also prone paddlers, stand up paddle boarders, outriggers, sea kayaks and more.
There’s lots of ocean paddle races and many are in protected waters in the bay but this is in an open water race. The conditions make this a great opportunity for paddle-fit first timers to have a go at this great race.
For the experienced racers this event will be race three of the dedicated 2025/2026 Victorian Ocean Paddling Series.
